Kerala Lottery Weekly Draw Schedule: Which Lottery Runs on Which Day
Kerala Lottery Team
Schedule Desk • Updated Feb 1, 2026

Kerala State Lottery runs a different lottery every day of the week — seven named draws, each with its own series, loyal following, and prize pool. Whether you play casually or regularly, knowing the schedule helps you plan when to buy and when to check results.
The Complete Weekly Schedule
Here is the day-by-day breakdown of all seven Kerala lotteries currently in operation:
| Day | Lottery | Code | First Prize | Price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Sunday | Samrudhi | SA | ₹80 Lakh | ₹40 |
| Monday | Bhagyathara | BT | ₹80 Lakh | ₹40 |
| Tuesday | Sthree Sakthi | SS | ₹80 Lakh | ₹40 |
| Wednesday | Dhanalakshmi | DL | ₹80 Lakh | ₹40 |
| Thursday | Karunya Plus | KN | ₹1 Crore | ₹40 |
| Friday | Suvarna Keralam | SK | ₹80 Lakh | ₹40 |
| Saturday | Karunya | KR | ₹1 Crore | ₹40 |
The "Code" column refers to the series prefix used in ticket numbering. For example, a Karunya Plus ticket might be numbered KN-642, where 642 is the draw number.
Draw Timing and Venue
Every draw — whether weekly or bumper — takes place at the same location and time:
- Venue: Gorky Bhavan, near the General Hospital Junction, Thiruvananthapuram
- Time: 3:00 PM IST, every day including Sundays and public holidays
- Results published: Within 30 minutes of the draw (typically by 3:30 PM)
The draws are conducted in the presence of lottery department officials and members of the public. Anyone can walk in and watch a draw — there is no entry fee or registration required. This open process is a key reason Kerala Lottery has maintained public trust for over five decades.
When and Where Tickets Are Available
Tickets for each day's lottery become available from early morning on the day of the draw itself. In practice, agents begin selling by 7-8 AM and continue until the draw time at 3 PM. Some agents in busy areas may run out of stock by noon, so buying early is advisable if you have a preference for specific number ranges.
All weekly lottery tickets are priced at a uniform ₹40. There is no bulk discount, premium pricing, or online purchase option. Tickets can only be bought from authorised lottery agents across Kerala.
Understanding the Series System
Each weekly lottery prints tickets across multiple series, typically labeled A through L (12 series). Each series contains tickets numbered 000000 to 999999. This means a single weekly draw can have up to 1.2 crore (12 million) tickets in circulation, though not all are always sold.
The first prize is drawn for a specific series + number combination. If the winning ticket is "KN-642 Series B 234567," only the holder of that exact ticket wins the first prize. Holders of ticket number 234567 in other series (A, C, D, etc.) win the consolation prize of ₹8,000.
How to Check Results
Results are published through multiple channels:
- Official gazette: Published by the Kerala Government, available at District Lottery Offices
- Kerala Lottery website: Results posted by 3:30 PM on the official portal
- keralalotteryresulttoday.com: Updated results with full prize breakdowns
- Newspapers: Major Malayalam dailies publish results the following morning
- Lottery agents: Most agents display results at their shops
Always cross-verify your ticket against the official gazette before celebrating. Unofficial sources can contain errors. For more on verifying your ticket, read our guide on identifying genuine lottery tickets.
Bumper Lottery Schedule
In addition to the seven weekly draws, Kerala runs six bumper lotteries tied to festivals and seasons. These are announced separately and tickets go on sale weeks or months before the draw date. The bumper schedule for 2026 typically follows this pattern:
- Summer Bumper: Draw in March (tickets on sale from January)
- Vishu Bumper: Draw in April-May (tickets from March)
- Monsoon Bumper: Draw in July (tickets from May)
- Onam Bumper: Draw in September (tickets from July) — the biggest draw of the year
- Pooja Bumper: Draw in November (tickets from September)
- Christmas New Year Bumper: Draw in January-February (tickets from November)

“Kerala is the only state in India that runs a government lottery draw every single day of the week. Each day has its own named lottery with its own following.”
Never Miss a Draw
All draws happen at 3:00 PM IST at Gorky Bhavan, Thiruvananthapuram. Results are typically published within 30 minutes. Tickets for any day's lottery are available from the morning of that day at authorized agents statewide.
